Psamomma Bodies

Ok so this is not radiology but, for those of you sitting the second part exams, the occasional catch phrase, especially when it relates to calcification can be important.  Psammoma bodies are lamellated concentric calcified structures, sometimes large enough to be seen on CT, and responsible for some of the hyperdensity seen in some tumours. This particular example is from a meningioma.
